Monitoring and Processing Users Activity

The Users JCA section provides information on customers, that are registered in the system, and details on the environments they have created. Here you can find the list of all users with the following information:
  • Login (the upgrading mark next to the email indicates that the process of upgrade to a billing group is not completed for this user yet)
  • User ID
  • Group
  • Balance
  • Bonus
  • Phone number
  • Signup date
  • Reseller

The list of users can be sorted due to their group by choosing the needed one (all, billing, trial, beta, post or your custom one) within the first drop-down list at the tools panel. Beside that, you can search for a particular user either by his email or unique ID - simply enter the required keyword into the email or UID field and click Search.

Also, by switching to the Activity history tab at the top, you can see a number of user’s actions with information about User ID and Actions count (regarding the operations mentioned in the Task panel of the users dashboards). Just specify the needed date range (Start and End dates) and click Refresh.

Clicking on a value within the User ID column will show the detailed information on this user.

Choose a particular user to perform the following actions:

Change Status

Users status is displayed in the table’s first column and is marked with special icons (the same as in the the Change status drop-down menu).

Here you can Activate, Suspend, Deactivate or Destroy the user - choose the needed one, click the Change status button, select the required status and confirm your decision.

Change Group

You can manually change the group for a particular user or for number of them. For that, tick the required user(s), click the Actions button in the upper panel and select the Change group option within the appeared drop-down list.

You’ll see the Change group frame opened:

Here, the following options are available:
  • User group - choose the required new group (trial, billing, beta etc)
  • Email notification - tick this line if you want to inform the chosen user(s) about the group changing
  • Email template (becomes active when the Email notification option is ticked) - select the email template, that will be send to the chosen user(s) as a notification

Confirm your decision with the OK button.

Change Email

In order to change the account-binded user’s email, find the required user within the list, select the Actions button at the tools panel and choose the Change Email option within the appeared drop-down list.

In the opened window, specify the new email address within the corresponding field and tick the check-box below if you want to notify a user about this change (in this case, the email notification with URL to the dashboard and new login will be sent to both old and newly specified email).

After this change, the Jelastic dashboard will be accessible only with this new email, while ID and environments of a user remain the same. New email will be displayed at the dashboard and used for all further email notifications.

Sign in as User

It is possible to sign in to the dashboard as one of the users. To do this, choose a user and click the Sign in as user button above. The dashboard will be opened in a new window.

Also you can open the Sign in as user drop-down list and choose Open in popup. In this case the dashboard will be opened in the popup window.

Select the line with the required user within the list. The separate frame to the right will provide you with the following information on user’s:


Here you can perform different actions with user’s environments.

Also, you can choose any node, listed to the right from the chosen environment, in order to see its Statistics (Memory, Processor and Network consumption) in the expandable section below.

Audit Log

The Audit log tab provides a report on user’s activity - just specify the time range (start and end dates) you are interested in and click on Refresh.

In the given table you’ll see the list of peformed by this user actions with information on their Date, Action name, Duration and Result ("Success" or the corresponding error message).

Billing History

Billing history provides the information about Item (the instance which consumed the resources), Environment this instance belongs to, the amount of consumed Reserved Cloudlets, Dynamic Cloudlets, Paid Storage, Paid Traffic and their Cost summary.

Just enter the Start and End date to see the information for the stated period, sorted due to specified Interval (hour, day, week or month), enable/disable the Group by node flag to correspondingly show info on nodes at the same environment layer as one item or separately. Refresh to update the displayed information due to the stated conditions.


In the Quotas tab the limitations for the chosen user are presented.

They can be changed by double-clicking on the required line, specifying the new value and selecting Update.

Funding History

The Funding history tab contains the information about all the payments made by the current user with details on their Date, Amount and Operations type. The possible operations types are:
  • FUND - refilling account
  • FUND_BONUS - refilling account with bonuses
  • REFUND - withdrawing money from the account
